Alessia Petrucci

Alessia has over 15 years of experience in the localization and translation industry with a background in full-service translation management specializing in technical, marketing and business verticals. Alessia has a degree in Translation from the University of Geneva, and speaks Italian, French, and Spanish. Prior to joining Acclaro, Alessia worked at Microsoft and J.D. Edwards (later PeopleSoft and Oracle).

Alyssa Paris

Alyssa has degrees and certificates in liberal arts, French studies, graphic design and wine, and has also studied psychology at the University of Bordeaux. Her many passions include romance languages, fine wine and gastronomy, design, yoga, Latin dance, alternative medicine, international travel and luxurious café conversations (preferably in Italian).

Ben Howdeshell

With over twelve years of experience in the localization industry, Ben has experience in project management, account management, sales, and marketing. Currently, he is a presales analyst at Acclaro. He holds a BA in International Relations and a minor in Japanese from Boston University, and has a working knowledge of French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew, and even a few words of Icelandic.

Daniela Eaton

Daniela supervises operations teams and manages East Coast accounts at Acclaro. She holds a Masters in Translation from Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz in Germersheim, Germany, specializing in English, Russian, and French, and a Diploma in Management from The Open University in the UK. Daniela has been in the localization industry since 2001 and speaks German, English, Russian, French, and Spanish.

David Hutson

David is Acclaro’s client development manager for New York City and the Tri-State area. With eight years experience in localization he has held positions in sales and production. His background includes a stint as a merchant marine and a role in the corporate communications department at the French investment Bank BNP Paribas. Having traveled extensively for work and pleasure to Prague, Santiago, Rio de Janeiro and Honduras, David currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Emma Young

As director of operations of Acclaro's San Francisco office, Emma manages all West Coast client relationships, localization endeavors and sales. Emma holds a post-graduate certificate in conflict resolution, has pursued computer technology course-work at the Cork Institute of Technology, and speaks Irish, Hungarian, and French.

Ian Barrow

Ian manages Acclaro's Technical Services and has been in the localization industry for the last 15 years. With a focus on streamlining manual work through automation, he has managed localization engineering and testing teams on multiple platforms. When not snowboarding or motor biking, we hear he dances a mean salsa.

Juan Rowda

Juan is one of Acclaro's engineering leads, focusing on file analysis and management, multilingual testing coordination, and overall quality assurance. He also has a key role in maintaining and maturing our translation memory tool suite. Juan is a native of Argentina, with a BA in Legal, Scientific, Technical, and Literary Translation from the University of Belgrano.

Lydia Clarke

Program Manager Lydia Clarke is known not only for her account management and project supervision skills but also for the (at least) 10 varieties of dough she has in her freezer at any given time, and her ability to turn them into tasty comestibles. Lydia oversees West Coast accounts, has a BA in Spanish from Cornell, and speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and French.

Michael Kriz

As Acclaro's founding president and with more than 20 years of industry experience, Michael is responsible for setting the vision and guiding the growth of Acclaro worldwide. Michael holds an MBA from Babson College and a BA from Tulane University, and enjoys frequent travel, plays soccer most Saturday mornings and windsurfs whenever the opportunity arises.

Ora Solomon

In addition to overseeing all Acclaro processes worldwide as vice president of sales and operations, Ora is responsible for client satisfaction and achieving operational excellence. Ora holds an MBA and a BA in Psychology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish and Hebrew. She loves motherhood and enjoys a good ballet class, book and camera.

Rachel Ferris

A veteran of the localization industry, Rachel oversees Operations at for all of Acclaro’s East Coast clients and projects. Rachel has a BA in American Studies and French, and her background lies in software, process management, and training. When not in the office, she puts her herb garden to use, concocting unique cocktails.

Rainer Plaschka

Rainer is Acclaro's German Language and Test Lead, making sure that software, websites, and documentation are all up-to-code and ready for global release. He has been in the localization industry since 1992. In addition to being a certified scuba instructor, Rainer also plays electric bass.

Robert Campbell

Robert has been in the localization industry for the past 15 years; in Germany and Switzerland as a political interpreter and economics translator, and then in the US as a Project and Program Manager. Robert has both Project Management Professional (PMP) certification as well as an MBA, and leads program management for our Massachusetts office.

Sandra De Luca

Sandra is Acclaro's Spanish language manager, supporting our resource development team with recruitment of South American linguistic resources and acting as Spanish language lead. Sandra is a native of Argentina, with a BA in Scientific, Technical, and Literary Translation from the Instituto de Enseñanza Superior en Lenguas Vivas, Juan Ramón Fernández.

Stephanie Engelsen

As marketing director Stephanie drives Acclaro's global marketing efforts, from strategy to creative direction and implementation. A native of California, Stephanie has traveled extensively and lived in Peru, France and Cameroon. She earned her BA in World Arts and Culture, cum laude, from UCLA, and speaks French fluently, along with a smattering of Spanish and German.

Steve Donlon

Steve has been in localization since before "localization" was in the dictionary. As Acclaro's Publishing Lead, he is charged with all stages of production management for documentation and user assistance in every language we work in, as well as solutions development and implementation. With this panoply of tasks, it's not surprising that his Acclaro nickname is "Stevie Wonder".
